Specimens belonging to this specification, including the Low Temperature Carbon Steel Fittings have to conform to required values with regards to parameters such as chemical composition, tensile and yield strength, wall thickness, elongation, as well as Charpy V-notch impact value. While hydrostatic testing of these fittings is not required according to this specification, all fusion-welded butt joints for e.g. LTCS A420 WPL6 Weld Fittings are required to be subjected to a radiographic examination.
