Wrought iron is an iron based alloy with the content of carbon being very low with respect to cast iron.


What Is Wrought Iron Fittings?


Typically, a Wrought Iron Floor Flange is used to connect threaded rigid or IMC conduits to surfaces that are flat. The threaded hub of this flange is what permits a pipe to be screwed in and to be securely fastened. In addition to being used for smoke detectors, a floor Wrought Iron Flange could also be used to hang security cameras, fire alarm signals/strobes as well as other low-voltage and electronic signalling devices from ceilings.
