DIN is a German national organization for standardization, which in turn is a member of the German ISO body. The DIN 2502 is a standard that takes into consideration several parameters for the production of DIN 2502 PN16 Flange. In addition to having parameters such as Flange type, Thickness of flange, Diameter of Pipe, number of holes, the diameter of bolt holes, Diameter of bolt circle, while covering the Flange Din 2502 Pn16 Dimension as well. The DIN 2502 specification also includes size, JIS, UNI, EN, coating and many more. Based on DIN 2502 specification, the DIN 2502 pn 16 Form c Flange is manufactured between 15 NB to 200 NB.

Typically, the material used for the manufacture of DIN 2502 PN16 Plate Flanges include alloys such as carbon steel, copper-nickel, Alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium, Inconel and many more. Depending on the industry using these flanges, the alloy used will correspond to the application. For instance, the specified DIN Carbon steel 2502 PN16 Flange will be used for those applications where strength and hardness along with a low cost are considered to be extremely important, while corrosion resistance is not really required. However, if the buyer were to add some form of protection to these flanges, he could request for surface treatments such as Oil Black Paint, Zinc Plated, Yellow Transparent, Anti-rust Paint, Cold or Hot Dip Galvanized. However, if cost is not really a factor and the buyer wold requires superior corrosion resistance properties along with good mechanical properties, any austenitic or martensitic grade could be used in the manufacturer of Stainless Steel DIN 2502 PN16 Flange.
