The ASTM A234 WP5 Fittings proves useful for application in both ambient and elevated temperature conditions. Often these fittings are a part of piping systems or pressure vessels. The ASTM A234 Alloy Steel WP5 Fittings undergo forming procedures in such a manner that the component does not produce injurious imperfections. Generally, the cooling rate of Normalized AS A234 WP5 Material is to be similar to that of cooling by air. Tests such as tension test, hardness test, and hydrostatic test are subjected to the Chromium A234 Grade WP5 Tee. In instances when the fittings for e.g. Buttweld A234 WP5 Cl1 Elbow are of welded construction, the grade, as well as the marking symbol, is to be supplemented by letter W.
