In addition to Chromoly steels, various grades of stainless steels and alloy steels are used to make ASTM A182 F11 Flange. In comparison to regular carbon steel grades, Chromoly steels, stainless steels and alloy steels tend to exhibit much higher tensile strength properties along with better corrosion resistance. Adding manganese to the alloy improves its tensile strength, toughness and hardenability, whereas chromium prevents oxidation corrosion in Alloy Steel A182 F11 NPT Fitting.
