The ASTM A105 Forged Fittings are well suited for use in pressure systems, especially if the application ranges between ambient to elevated temperature. Materials used in the manufacture of Forged A105 Weld Fittings have to be subjected to heat treatment. Furnishing of these fitting is conducted by processes such as annealing, normalizing, tempering, or quenching. The material used to make SA-105 Normalized Fittings is carbon steel. Therefore, the content of alloyants like carbon, copper, nickel, manganese, phosphorus, chromium, sulfur, silicon, molybdenum and vanadium present in the CS A105 Threaded Fitting must be one that suits the application.
