Stainless Steel 321 Sheet is a stabilized version of the basic 18/8 austenitic stainless steel. The 304 grade steel is added titanium or niobium for stabilization and the 321 grade is derived. Suryadeep Industry is a leading manufacturer and supplier of the AISI 321 Plate material in large scales. The material is less sensitive to carbide precipitation after heating above 425 degrees Celsius. The Stainless Steel 321 Plates can perform at temperatures up to 900 degrees Celsius and they have good strength and corrosion resistance properties. The SS 321 Sheets are also strong against scaling and phase stability. They are resistance to aqueous corrosion as well. The material can be modified with lower carbon version to have high strength at high temperatures as well. The Stainless Steel 321 Slatting Coil another form of the plates and it is used in high temperature services. The material also has high thermal conductivity and good electric conductivity.
The SS 321 Circle is used in unique applications. The material has carbon, silicon, phosphorus, sulfur and nitrogen in the composition. The minimum yield strength is 205MPa like the 304 grade and the minimum tensile strength of the SUS 321 Plate is also similar to 304 grades with 515MPa. The Stainless Steel 321 Circle can be used in stressful environments because it has higher hardness. The Brinell hardness value of the material is 217. The plates could be cold rolled or hot rolled depending on the application requirements. The Stainless Steel 321 Cold Rolled Plates have excellent welding characteristics with good machining ability. The material could be formed as required. The ASTM A240 Stainless Steel 321 Shim Sheets are used in component fixtures because of their high hardness, strength and corrosion resistant properties.
