ROCKSTAR 400 Plate is a high wear and tear resistant plate that has a combination of toughness, hardness, strength and formability. For these reasons the material is used in a variety of industries. Low-Temperature 400 Steel Plates are intended to be used in low to mild temperatures. The plates could be used as structural components in buildings and bridges as well. The hardness ranges from 370 to 430 for this particular grade. The 400HBW plates can support cutting, forming, drilling, machining, grinding and testing processes. The chemical composition includes carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur, chromium, nickel, molybdenum and boron. The 400 Liner Plates come in different thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 100mm depending on the application’s requirements. The EN 10051 400 Plate ranges from 1500mm to 2500mm in width and 6000mm to 12000mm in length. The production is by means of hot rolling or by cold rolling.
