Stainless Steel 310S Sheet is made up of an austenitic stainless steel that is corrosion resistant to oxidation and general corrosion. The material is made up of a composition that allows it to be heat treated and be weldable. The Stainless Steel 310S Slatting Coil is one form of the less carbon version of the 310 stainless steel. The material has 25% chromium and 20% nickel in the composition. The chromium and nickel content makes the SS 310S Coils to be resistant to oxidation. The coils can operate under very high temperatures. The elevated temperature services up to 1150 degrees Celsius can use the Stainless Steel 310S Circle for intermittent services whereas the continuous services can use the material up to 1035 degrees Celsius. The material is also strong with high tensile and yield strengths. The SUS 310S Plate has minimum 205MPa yield strength and 520MPa minimum tensile strength.
The plates could be either hot rolled or be Stainless Steel 310S Cold Rolled Plates. They are annealed as part of the production process but cannot be heat treated to further strengthen the material. The SS 310S Circle is one type of the sheets that is used in high temperature services such as heat exchangers. The applications of the material range from transportation to food processing. The ASTM A240 Stainless steel is used in pressure vessel applications such as boilers and heat exchangers as well as general corrosive services like water lines. The Steel 310S Shim Sheets are used to connect two components together while distributing the stress evenly along the surface. There are different finishes and polishes such as the 310S Stainless Steel 2B Plate. The different finishes are needed for the unique applications they are used in. The polishing makes the 310S SS Polished Plates be applied in outdoor and precise applications. We supply all types of the material in different grades, scales and dimensions. Please contact us for SS 310S Hot Rolled Plates and many other variations.
