Titanium Grade 7 Plate contains 0.12% palladium in its composition. This gives many advantages to the material. The plates and sheets fall under ASTM B265 specifications and ASTM, ASME and API standards. The Din 3.7235 Titanium Hot Rolled Plates are strong, ductile, corrosion resistant and oxidation resistant at high temperatures. The plates and sheets vary in thickness from 4mm to 100mm. The Titanium Grade 7 Cr Plates have high strength with 275MPa minimum yield strength and 345MPa minimum tensile strength. The oxygen in the composition and the palladium additions provide the material its unique mechanical and physical properties. The Uns R52400 Titanium Grade 7 Plate has high crevice corrosion resistance at low temperatures. There are different finishes such as the Astm B265 Titanium Grade 7 Chequered Plate and they can operate under high pH values without crevice corrosion as well.
The Titanium Grade 7 High Quality Plates have the alpha composition in the metallurgical microstructure. The plates could be hot rolled or cold rolled. The Titanium Grade 7 Cold Rolled Plate has 275MPa minimum yield strength and 345MPa minimum tensile strength. The material has similar properties to the commercially pure grades. The Titanium ASTM B265 Gr 7 Plate can be used in pressure vessel applications up to 300 degrees Celsius temperatures. The grade 7 is readily weldable and machinable. The CP Titanium Grade 7 Plate can also be heat treated and annealed at 670 to 750 degrees Celsius and then rapidly cooled in the air. The ASME SB 265 Gr 7 Plates are used in critical components in the aerospace, medical and chemical industrial applications. Please contact us for more information on the Grade 7 UNS R52400 Plates
