We offer ASTM A554 TP316 specification covers welded austenitic, ferritic, and austenitic-ferritic duplex stainless steel mechanical tubing intended for use in the ornamental, structural, exhaust, and other applications where appearance, mechanical properties, or corrosion resistance is needed. SA554 TP316 Tubing is commonly shipped without protective coating. If special protection is needed, details shall be specified in the order. ASME SA554 TP316 Rectangular Tube and ASTM A554 TP316 Square Tubing yield strength corresponding to a permanent offset of 0.2% of the gage length of the specimen, to a total extension of 0.5% of the gage length under load shall be determined. ASTM A554 Grade mt316 is made from flat-rolled steel by an automatic welding process, without any filler metal addition. Heat analysis is performed so that several grades of stainless steel conforming to the required chemical composition.
