P355NL2 Steel Plates is intended for low temperature applications of pressure vessels and fine grain steels applications. The EN10028-3 P355NL2 plates is made up of a composition that has vanadium, titanium, nickel, niobium, molybdenum, copper, chromium, nitrogen, aluminum, sulfur, phosphorus, manganese, silicon and carbon in it. This combination allows the P355NL2 Mill Plates to withstand mild temperatures and to possess high strength values. The material is also easily formable and readily weldable.
The EN10028-3 Grade P355NL2 Plates comes in different thicknesses. The plates range from 5mm to 300mm in thickness. The low thickness plates have high strength values of 355MPa minimum yield strength and up to 630MPa of minimum tensile strength. The EN10028 P355NL2 plates has up to 325MPa minimum yield strength when they are over 50mm in thickness. The plates are also made in different lengths ranging from 3000mm to 15000mm and widths ranging from 1500mm to 4050mm. The EN10028-3 Gr P355 NL2 Plates are resistant to brittle cracking or embrittlement. The applications include storage tanks for pressurized gases.
