E250 Steel Plate is a mild steels plate that is used mostly for the least cost of it. It is also tough and hard with ease of welding. The Carbon Steel IS 2062 GR E250 Sheets have certain extent of corrosion resistance but they rust quickly than the other types of steels. The material comprises of 0.29% carbon and is used in making load bearing braces and bars. The Mild Steel E250 Plates are used in automobile skeleton, general cookware and in cruiser outlines. The material is often coated because of the less corrosion resistance of the IS 2062 E250 Mild Steel Plates. It is accurate in dimensions and can sustain high temperature loads and pressure. The stress distribution along the plate is excellent.
The IS 2062 E250 Grade A Steel Sheet also has a smooth transition and can be made in different rust proof finishes. There are E250, 350, 410 and 450 standards of plates. The width of the E250 Gr A Steel Plates range from 1000mm to 3000mm and the thickness ranges from 1mm to 300mm. The material is used to produce the IS 2062 E250 Grade B Steels Plate in hot rolled or cold rolled conditions. The composition differs with the grades A, B, BO, BR and A36. The difference in the composition accounts for slight differences in mechanical and physical properties.
