Hastelloy C22 Plates is a Nickel – Chromium – Molybdenum alloy with better overall resistance and versatility than any other Ni – Cr – Mo available. Hastelloy C22 Plates (UNS N06022) are used in Scrubbers, Heat exchangers, Reaction vessels, Evaporators and more. Welding can be done by gas tungsten-arc, gas metal-arc and shielded metal-arc processes. Our Alloy C22 Sheets can be cut using any conventional plasma arc cutting system. UNS N06022 Plates is used in pollution control, chemical processing, pulp and paper production, waste treatment, marine seawater applications, etc. When comparing the two alloys, there is little difference in corrosion resistant performance with one exception; Alloy C22 Sheets shows an improvement over Alloy C276 Sheets when used in certain saturated wet chlorine environments. Hastelloy C22 Plates are used in pollution control, chemical processing, pulp and paper production, and waste treatment. Hastelloy B2 Sheets and Plates are also specified in sour gas applications and are commonly used in Flue Gas Desulfurization (FGD) applications for scrubbers, dampers and ducts.
