AISI 4130 Alloy Steel (UNS G41300)
Alloy steels are designated by AISI four-digit numbers. They are more responsive to mechanical and heat treatments than carbon steels. They comprise different types of steels with compositions which exceed the limitations of B, C, Mn, Mo, Ni, Si, Cr, and Va in the carbon steels.
AISI 4130 alloy steel contains chromium and molybdenum as strengthening agents. It has low carbon content, and hence it can be welded easily. The datasheet given below provides more details about AISI 4130 alloy steel.
Alloy steel is steel that is alloyed with a variety of elements in total amounts between 1.0% and 50% by weight to improve its mechanical properties. Alloy steels are broken down into two groups: low-alloy steels and high-alloy steels.

We can supply AISI 4130 Ring Type Joint Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications. We have ready stock of 4130 Grade Fittings, Tees & Olets (Origin America / German) etc. We also stock 10,000 psi API6BX blind and weld neck flanges in 4130 (or 410 stainless) grade in 60K and 75K.
API Licensed Manufacturers usually use 4130 for all of their 6BX connectors especially weld neck connectors (flanges and hubs). Steels other than 4130 that manufacturers may use, include 4140, 8630, and 410 “Stainless Steel.” All of these materials prove more difficult than 4130 to weld, they almost can’t be welded satisfactorily in the field. Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Ring Type Joint Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.
The Ring Type Joint flanges
The Ring Type Joint flanges are typically used in high pressure (Class 600 and higher rating) and/or high temperature services above 800°F (427°C). They have grooves cut into their faces which steel ring gaskets. This type of use as a seal ring of steel called a ring joint gasket. Fabricated ring groove on the surface of the flange with the specification that has been set based on international standards.
Ring Type Joint gaskets
Ring Type Joint gaskets are metallic sealing rings, suitable for high-pressure and high-temperature applications. They are always applied to special, accompanying flanges which ensure good, reliable sealing with the correct choice of profiles and material.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Screwed Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Screwed Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Screwed Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Screwed Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.
Threaded Flanges (Screwed flanges)are similar to slip-on flanges in outline, but the bore is threaded, thus enabling assembly without welding. This obviously limits its application to relatively low pressure piping systems. Threaded Flanges may be welded around the joint after assembly, but this is not considered a satisfactory method of increasing the flanges’ pressure applications. Threaded flange use in low press condition usually.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Long Neck Weld Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Long Neck Weld Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Long Neck Weld Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Long Neck Weld Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.
Advantages of AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges:
Better sealing properties, more precise location and exact compression af sealing material, utilization of other, more suitable sealing and spezialized sealing material (O-rings).
Disadvantages of AISI 4130 Groove & Tongue Flanges:
Commercial availabillity and cost. Normal raised faced is far more common and ready available both regarding Valves, flanges and sealing material. Another complexity is that some rigid rules must be applied to the piping design. Do you order Valves to be female end both sides, or on one side maybe, in which case do you point all male ends in the flow direction, or what. Same applies to any flanged joint / vessel connection of course.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Lapped joint Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Lapped joint Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Lapped joint Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Lapped joint Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.
Lap Joint Pipe Flanges slide over the pipe and are most commonly used with Stub End Fittings. A pipe is typically welded to the Stub End and the Lap Joint pipe flange is free to rotate around the stub end. The benefit of this is that there will not be any issues with bolt hole alignment. Lap Joint pipe flanges are often used for applications that require frequent dismantling.
High quality Lap Joint Flanges all made and controlled to the relevant standards such as: ASME, ASTM, BS and DIN/WERKSTOFFE.
All Lap Joint Flanges are available available in sizes from 1/4” through to any size.
Schedule 5s through to Schedule XXS and heavier.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Threaded Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Threaded Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Threaded Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Threaded Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.

MD Exports LLP takes immense pleasure in Introducing itself as a Stockiest & Exporter of Alloy Steel AISI 4130 Loose Flanges, AISI 4130 Flanges, API Flanges & AISI 4130 Fittings. MD Exports LLP regularly supplies AISI 4130 Loose Flanges to core industries such as refineries, chemical & petrochemical, oil & Gas, Water treatment plant, power plants, off-shore, ship building, EPC & other Engineering company. We can supply AISI 4130 Loose Flanges & LONG SWEEP MANIFOLD REINFORCED FITTINGS Suitable for 5000, 10000 & 15000PSI Applications.
Of the commonly available low alloy steels, AISI 4130 Loose Flanges & 4130 has the best weldability.
We accept all small/large quantity orders.
